Donations for Aaron

Thank you for considering a donation to "Aarons Angel Network Fund". It is our continued prayer and hope to enable Aaron to reach his full potential with intensive therapy. When Aaron was 5 weeks old, he was enrolled in our states early intervention program called First Steps. This is a wonderful program that assists many children with special needs from birth to 3 years old. However, we learned very early that Aaron's prognosis was so severe that the PT, OT, & Speech offerred through the EI program would be significantly inadequate. Here is additional information. After several months of research, and consultations with other parents in similar situations, we have identified several therapies that we feel will give Aaron the best chance to reach his full potential. They are as follows:

• Advanced Bio-Mechanical Rehabilitation
• G-Therapy
• Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy - HBOT
• Family Hope Center
• Anat Baniel/Feldenkrais
• Masgutova Reflex Integration

We have thoroughly investigated each of these programs and are confident that Aaron would greatly benefit from each. They all have special strengths to meet his unique needs and have proven track records for at least 15 years and as many as 50 years. Unfortunately, most of the cost of these therapies are not covered by insurance because they are still considered "alternative". Several are going through the rigorous process of clinical trials, double blind studies, etc to be covered by insurance but these processes and studies can take several years or decades. Obviously Aaron can't wait that long. We have a small window of opportunity to have a significant impact on his development and need to act quickly. Costs are always subject to change, but below is a rough itemization of the annual costs involved for each therapy:

• ABR Training and Evaluations $1895 4 times/year = $7580
• ABR Machine Rental = $4200
• G-Therapy = $5000
• HBOT Sessions 2 times/year = $8000
• Family Hope Center 2 times/year = $6250
• Anat Baniel/Feldenkrais (Intensive Sessions) = $4800
• Masgutova Reflex Integration 2 times/year = $500

As you can see, these are substantial expenses but we know that Aaron will benefit immensly. We have already started 5 out of the six therapies and he has made great strides. But we need your help to continue. It is our prayer that you will join "Aaron's Angel Network" by:

• Making a monthly gift of $13 per month
• Volunteering your time or talent
• Donating a non-monetary gift that can be used for a silent auction
• Providing referrals to businesses, groups or organizations that may be willing to authorize the placement of a small snack box where the proceeds will go towards Aaron’s therapy fund
• Providing referrals to businesses, groups or organizations that may be willing to hold a fundraiser, or donate their time, talent, or treasure

With every month that goes by, the gap between Aaron and other children widens, causing further delays. 75% of the brain develops within the first two years and we want to do as much as we can. We will continue to work after he turns two but want to lay a good foundation to build upon.
